"We agreed to flesh out our ideas further and narrow them down at the next meeting, with the aim of being one step closer to a chosen project."

The aim of this meeting, our third meeting, was to try condense the list of project ideas we have to get one step closer to determining which idea best hones on all our abilities.

We both looked at the ideas from different angles, Kealan taking the approach of identifying specific features of each whilst I took the approach of breaking each idea into key components and researching what knowledge we would need to possess in order to design each component.

Divide & Conquer

We discussed the research we had done into each area, the languages we would need to use and the features we'd need and from this we were able to eliminate two ideas which we deemed too complicated or areas where we possessed little or no knowledge.

We were left with 4 ideas from this, however we both agreed we need to look into the other 4 ideas further with the aim of having 2 or 3 ideas, which we have conducted solid research for, to bring to academic staff.

Tasklist for next meeting:

-> Next meeting set for Sunday Evening ( October 1st)

-> Research our 4 ideas further identifying knowledge requirements and features

-> Aim to reduce the amount of ideas to 2 or 3

-> Identify which members of staff in the DCU School Of Computing would be best approached for our ideas
